Weddings
- Can I have pre dinner drinks outside?
- Yes, there are two outdoor locations for pre dinner drinks. Depending on what room is booked for your function, pre-dinner drinks and savouries can be served to your guests on the Members' Lawn or in The Mounting Yard for an additional $250.00 (subject to weather conditions and availability).
- Can we have your wedding ceremony at Flemington?
- Yes, if you are having your wedding at Flemington you are welcome to conduct your wedding ceremony in the Mounting Yard or the Parade Ring (subject to availability). Surrounded by roses this area is a fabulous outside space for you and your guests to enjoy your ceremony. The cost to use the Mounting Yard or the Parade Ring for your ceremony is $500.00
- Can we bring bottles of spirits?
- These spirits will be served from behind the bar by the waiters to the guest tables in compliance with our liquor license. Corkage will be charged at $12 per bottle for only the bottles that are opened on the night.
- Are chair covers, sashes, centrepieces and draping included in the cost?
- No. All of these items are an additional cost. We have recommended suppliers that provide these items and we can give you their contact details for you to liaise with them directly.
- Do all the venues have air conditioning and heating?
- Yes, there is both heating and cooling in all venues at Flemington.
- What time is the venue licensed to?
- In accordance with Victoria Liquor Licensing Regulations, all functions must conclude by 1.00 am, with all guests to fully depart the premises by 1.30 am.
- How will our guests know where to go once they arrive at Flemington?
- All areas of Flemington are clearly marked with signed directions to each venue. Our Event Sales Executive can provide you with specific wording and directions for your wedding invitations.
